The Author:
A week ago a man snuck into the forest, and using a vial of black filth obtained from the creature known only as The Monster, and used it to taint the lake. Madison used what magic he had to remove much of the poison, but he has his limits. The strike against the lake may have been calculated as during the new moon Madison is unable to access the Moon Temple and the power within. A half week later, he returns to complete the task he started, and receives assistance from an unexpected friend.
Madison Jones: On a ridge overlooking the river, I look up into the sky seeing a near perfect crescent moon on the horizon.
- Crescent Moon
I hold both hands forward over the river, this ridge leading up over to it as though there should be more. Close my eyes, my hands glowing amber, I will bring Moon Temple into existence again, a bridge appearing across the water and the structure appearing in the cliff face.
- The Moon Temple
Achlys: Wisps of fog, like fingers gently touching the edges of the lake...
Madison Jones:
Eyes open, I feel her presence... The Goddess of Mourning. She is... at the lake? Perhaps she can feel its damaged mana. "I shall be there shortly." I say to the wisps of fog around. "I must activate Lumen's magic first." I then head into the Moon Temple.
Achlys:
The fog trembles briefly round the lake, and other wisps appear higher in the air, making a halo round the crescent moon...
Madison Jones:
Inside the Moon Temple, I make my way to the central statue of Lumen the Moon God. I give a bow as this entity is the one that allows me to persist without the need of taking lives. I reach out and touch his statue, it's eyes now glowing with bright holy light.
- Status of Lumen the Moon God
I pull back my hand, his holy light shimmering on it for a moment, the connection made. "I shall make this brief." Eyes glow amber as I activate Wolven Speed, moving near the speed of sound, I rush now and arrive at Lake Crystarium, my body trailing amber light as I move.
Achlys:
The amber light behind you softened by a haze of mist...
Madison Jones:
With some heavy breaths, I look upon the Mistress of the Mists. "Achlys... it is good to see you again." I give a light bow as I look over the poisoned lake... it is less poisoned after my intervention a week ago.
Achlys:
"You have done well, brother mage. There was great danger, but you have lessened it." The Lady looks at the figure and sees both wolf and man...
Madison Jones:
"I took a vow to protect this land, and while I refuse to subjugate myself to the army, I still do what I can to help..." I take in the sight of the moonlight reflecting off the lake, its beautiful radiance diffused by your wispy presence.
"The toxin that remains is too fine for me to sift out. It's like fine sand that slips through my fingers. I've seen you produce toxic fumes before, do you think you could help collect and remove the rest of the poison?"
Achlys:
"There are flowers that only bloom at night... white, with clean fragrance... but they remain infertile unless the sky shows itself, clear and cloudless. It will aid your task, and please the moon and even the mist, were you to shed your clothing, both wolven and mortal, to approach the task with complete purity."
Madison Jones:
"You know me now, I am no stranger to nudity. Perhaps I should bring you a Blu-Ray of my SECW matches if you are drawn to the sight of me naked and spreading my seed, though I know not if you could view such media. As for now..." Without hesitation, I drop my backpack and shed my clothing, standing naked and pure under the moonlight for you and anybody else to see.

Achlys:
The Lady sees, and with slow purpose, unhurried, like a fog bank lifting and moving, she rises, leaps the hedge, single frame by single frame, without disclosing awareness or possession of any complete set of matches on Blu-Ray, she recedes and approaches, trailing wisps.
"With pleasure the moon greets you, mage, and I also. Only the cloths of heaven cover you now, with their light and half light, and it is fitting. In this state, almost all you attempt can be accomplished." And the fog drifts closer, for the briefest moment, like a caress, to wrap the body of the noble mage.
Madison Jones:
"I am no god, merely a naïve fool who keeps dabbling in things above me... but tonight with your skill, Lumen's power, and my determination, we will lift this corruption. Come my lady, oh Goddess of the Mist. Let us dance on the surface of the lake and cleanse this taint." With that I extend a hand ready to walk on the water with you so we can do the deed together.
Achlys:
And she takes your hand, lifts, slowly, slowly, and they look down at the black surface of the waters, shining darkly like obsidian. "Decrepit age has plagued this lake, tied to it as to a dog's tail. Yet now you reach, and give energy. The trees watch and listen, and the moon…"
Achlys:
"There are those who speak of the temple and its buildings..."
I pace upon the battlements and stare
On the foundations of a house, or where
Tree, like a sooty finger, starts from the earth;
And send imagination forth
Under the day's declining beam, and call
Images and memories
From ruin or from ancient trees,
For I would ask a question of them all.
Madison Jones:
Hands embrace as you engage in your augury, I dare to take the lead with the dance. I am no god, but am a mortal who tampers with things above my pay grade, and yet I have achieved much. Rising champion, Magician, Moon Priest, and even Lesser Wolf Lord; compared to you I am a child in a perilous swamp, but eyes filled with determination ready to find my way out. We begin the dance, amber light exuding from my body, the crescent moon overhead enunciating my power. I start to cleanse the lake once again...
Achlys:
The waters roil from each passing foot and gesture... foaming, purifying. And the dance continues, fog holding the body of the mage aloft. "You are not unnoticed, Mage, though if you aspire to greater things, you will need to undergo ordeals. The burden of greatness is heavy, requiring no comparison with others. But know that you are beloved of the gods and spirits."
Madison Jones:
I nod at your assertion, my weakened confidence as a consequence from others always around me, their shadows long and hard to escape. You are right though that I am forging a path, and strength only comes from struggle and strife. While I ruminate on this, I can feel the poison, small traces like that hide between the drops of water, now rising to the surface. "It's working, I can feel it..."
Achlys:
The fog wafts downward to ascertain the truth, that waves lap, the water less black now, weak moonlight glancing over the surface.
Madison Jones:
Now... now is the time for Lumen's power... No... My power that he has given me. These are not just borrowed gifts, they have been imbued into me, to do with as I choose. Right now... I choose to purify this lake. I spin the Mistress of the Mist around, catching her back and holding her for a moment as though I was lover. I then crouch bringing my right to the surface of the water, Lumen's light glowing on it brighter than any star. I touch it and that light shines, spreads, and covers the lake, illuminating not just the local surroundings, but the whole Pagan Woods if only for a moment. The poison is gone.
Achlys:
The light coruscates, seems to pierce the fog, almost making it disappear, and when the light is extinguished, the afterimage remains, tendrils of mist rising from the purified surface of the lake… "My heart caught in my throat with your turn, Mage, and see, the lake is restored..."
Madison Jones:
"It's pure... but still weakened my lady. It needs to be fertilized as I did before with the Ritual of AcCumulation. I do not need an army this time, I alone should suffice. Please, hold me afloat while I do the deed, first as a man... and then as a wolf." I look into your eyes, help you to stand, the water a perfect floor as our dance has finished.
Achlys:
The Lady narrows her eyes at the mention of the AcCumulation, and without a moment's hesitation, grasps the mage firmly round his thighs, holding him up, and with some enthusiasm the fog courses down, round, through, across the stalwart body of the mage, caressing, and on occasion, whipping the surface of his skin.
Madison Jones:
Held afloat in the air, your fog supporting me as though I was on a cloud, I close my eyes and bring my hand to my manhood. Thoughts shift as I embrace my fantasies, my body swelling as I relive past moments of both triumph and defeat. I begin to stroke myself in this union of man and god. With your support, I get lost in the motions... I am no worker bee looking to use you, but a friend looking for support, and so stroke and stroke getting closer to the inevitable.
Achlys:
This mage sails close to the wind, in the manner that most pleases the Lady of Mists, though for her, as a goddess of mourning, of course defeat is more efficacious than triumph, and again she narrows eyes, imagining the tragic magnificence of the mage in defeat... Yet weather and the insect kingdom are never far from one other, and when he invokes the bee, a wisp of fog whips between his legs… then speaks the Lady:
"Around the virgin queen, and dwelling with her in the hive, are hundreds of exuberant males, forever drunk on honey; the sole reason for their existence being one act of love...for twenty or thirty tribes will hasten from all the neighbouring cities, her court thus consisting of more than ten thousand suitors; and from these ten thousand one alone will be chosen for the unique kiss of an instant that shall wed him to death no less than to happiness; while the others will fly helplessly round the intertwined pair, and soon will perish without ever again beholding...this prodigious and fatal apparition."
And here the Lady tips her head to glance at the mage over the tops of her dark glasses...
Madison Jones:
That wisp of fog whips out, it is both strong yet comforting, a sting reminding me of the pains that I have felt. The Goddess of Mourning wishes for me to remember my defeats, and so remember my losses from the recent run of matches from the "Spring Break Brawl", matches that are being printed to Blu-Ray soon to come out if such a thing would interest her. I think about being humbled, about being fucked, about fear... or perhaps secret desire... that might have happened if things were slightly different in one of these competitions. The thoughts flood my mind, perhaps that emotion and feeling trailing back to you through your tendril. Eyes open with a LOOOOONNNGGGG moan... and then I flow a river milk that drains and drips off me into the lake.
Achlys:
The waters boil as the mage blesses them. The sound of white noise almost blotting out the cries of pleasure of the mage and of the Goddess imagining ignominious defeat for her supplicant. Like a shockwave or a weather front, a line or interstice radiates across the surface of the lake, reaching shore near the grove of Mahogany and Ironwood trees in whose shadow the dark water becomes the hue of wine. The Mage's head hangs, his body in the posture of release, task completed, job well-done. The fog lifts him then sets him down ashore not far from that same dark grove. The crescent moon hangs lower on the horizon. The waters begin to subside...
Madison Jones:
Brought ashore I breathe deeply, and yet I know this labor is not over. In this weak body oh Goddess of Mourning, you have seen... felt... the defeats of Madison Jones. Now laying there I start to think of my other face, the one who will add to the fertilization of the lake and finish this task. I think of rage, anger, and Primal Lust, what flows through my mind when I TAKE my victories. I begin to change.
Brown fur begins to grow, body mass increases, eyes glow with topaz amber. I rise to my legs, looking to the crescent overhead, bones displacing as I fight the urge to cry out against pain. Deep breath and exhale of heated air, the form of Madison Jones changes beyond recognition. That human boy is gone...
Copper Wolf:
And only Copper Wolf remains.
Achlys:
The fog reconfigures, stroking the form of the wolf, enhancing his ferocity, by turns hiding then revealing… "Welcome triumphant wolf"
Copper Wolf:
"And you yourself oh Goddess of the Mist." The wolf speaks, his voice primal and deep, savage yet... in control... an echo of Madison Jones lingering. Wolven Cock, a large Copper Spike protrudes from my loins, and with claws paws, I stand tall and begin to stroke it pointed at the lake. Eyes focus on the moon as adrenaline kicks in, chest rising and falling as I think of the man that was foolish enough to try and kill me, and who I raped and murdered.
Achlys:
The fog wraps the wolf like a great garment, shifts and travels over him...
Copper Wolf:
Brown fur drips with wet condensation from the glorious mist, the tips shining like copper, and so the Copper Wolf continues to pleasure himself reliving the memories of the man's final moment. His broken pelvis, his screams of pain, and the taste of his crushed skull. I HOOOOWWWLLLLL at the moon with thoughts in my mind, a thick load of Wolven Cum shooting forth.

It splashes many feet into the lake, the white of it adding to the seed of my human face. The water boils again, a shimmer of light rippling across it as its mana begins to rejuvenate.
The labor is complete, and so I turn to the Mistress again, paw outstretched to welcome her embrace if she so desires.
Achlys:
And the fog returns the embrace, the wolf almost disappearing in the clouds of mist and triumph. This is how it should be, the lake lapping against its shore, the dripping trees, the cool moon overhead...

2022-05-08 18:33As the planets align over the crescent moon, Bjarg watches from high on a ledge overlooking Lake Crystarium while the Mage and Copper Wolf, with the help of Achlys and Lumen, perform the ritual of AcCumulation to purify Lake Crystarium. It pleases him to see this teamwork successfully purify the lake once more. Now, only an infusion of Green Fire from Dahvin himself is needed to complete the work and protect this ancient jewel.

This land is precious and I will protect. Now to deal with the one who desecrated the lake...

Like children, innocent denizens of the wood bedeck themselves, dance in hope, praying for Green Fire. The Maintainer looks above to find planets in formation, aligned in their crystal spheres. This is fitting and proper ...just as it is for the Lady of Mourning to scour the heavens for dire portents, comets, meteors... Good and ill always exist and are mixed everywhere.
