The Conquest of Superman - Part 1

Starring
Superman Muscle (deleted member)

05:49 Man-El: Man-El stood in the abandoned apartment overlooking the elevated metro line cutting through Metropolis. Man-El concentrated carefully, activating his X-Ray vision, scanning each of the massive support structures holding up the elevated railway, checking that his explosives were properly in place and ready. The elite commando never left anything to chance.

05:49 Man-El: But Man-El was no ordinary soldier, he was a Kryptonian. A massive man, his incredibly dense and thick muscle popping out of the solid black muscle-hugging uniform he wore, the only adornment being the symbol of the house of Zod proudly emblazoned on his chest.

05:49 Man-El: The Kryptonian had been an elite commando trained on Krypton before the evacuation with General Zod. He had spent his life training in stealth, infiltration, hand to hand combat, battlefield tactics and many more warrior skills. During the evacuation, the powerful proud soldier had been assigned as General Zod's personal bodyguard. During that hectic time, he'd served the General with distinction and pride. When they had woken up on this new world, and marveled at the amazing powers granted by the Earth's yellow sun, they had believed this would be their new home. At least, they had until Kal-El. Man-El's powerful body, his battle-ship strong biceps, his massive armour-plated pecs, his tree trunk thighs tensed and flexed with the rage that filled him at the thought of Kal-El. Man-El had counseled General Zod not to challenge Kal-El, not to allow the thrill of these newfound powers lure him into a false sense of invincibility.

05:49 Man-El: He had argued fiercely, the seasoned soldier explaining that Kal-El had an entire lifetime to master these new found powers. It would be better to retreat, to stay low, until they could match his mastery, but General Zod was so certain. The only reason Man-El had survived the disaster and death of General Zod, the destruction of their ship, was a coincidence. The general had sent his most trusted and skilled commando on a scouting mission to find Superman's fortress when he and Superman had battled.

05:49 Man-El: When he learned of the disaster, Man-El swore he'd get his revenge. The powerful, deadly soldier stayed low for several years, mastering his new found powers with his supreme discipline and dedication. He'd researched his prey with care, following Superman’s exploits and studying visual records of his battles and encounters, of his reactions, and had finally settled on his plan. Superman was powerful, yes, but he lacked Man-El’s training as an elite soldier and fighter. Man-El was counting on his greater experience, once he mastered his newfound powers, to be the deciding factor in a battle between them. A battle to avenge Zod.

05:49 Man-El: He was finally ready to confront Superman. He’d come up with a plan to lure in the Man of Steel. Simple, yet effective. He’d planted explosives on the support structures of the nearby elevated railway. He would detonate them just as the train was passing over. The incident would undoubtedly draw out Superman, and while Superman was distracted rescuing the survivors of the explosion, he, Man-El would strike.

05:49 Man-El: With a grim smile, he detonated the explosives just as the metro train was rushing over the tracks. The well-placed bombs ripped through the struts, and the elevated line careened crazily off to the side, derailing the metro train. Passengers screamed in terror, many of the cars were flung to the street below, causing mayhem, and doubtless many injuries and deaths. One of the cars however, was hanging crazily off the broken end of the line, the passengers on board screaming for help as it precariously began to swing, inching bit by bit over the precipice of the shattered rail line. The entire time, Man-El stood in the abandoned apartment, waiting for his chance.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: Superman didn't need his super hearing to recognize the multiple explosions for what they were. Even as he flew out of the offices of the Daily Planet, leaving just a gust of wind, that ruffled the papers on his desk, and a still steaming cup of coffee beside his laptop. He deftly pulled open his shirt, and in a mid air feat of acrobatics, went from mild mannered Clark Kent to Superman! Earth's champion and the mightiest of heroes. He was moving so quickly that all anyone would have noticed had they been paying careful attention was a fleeting blue and red blur, gone in the blink of an eye.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: Discarding his outer clothing and glasses, Superman's nanoweave suit hugged his powerfully muscled physique as he sped towards the sounds of screaming and the rising smoke. As he gazed upon the wreckage his fears were confirmed, this was no accident, the train had been deliberately derailed in the most destructive fashion possible.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: He had no time to speculate as to the reason, however. Priorities first, he flew immediately towards the precariously hanging train car, flying up underneath it, and grabbing the undercarriage and lifting the entire train car off the tracks, and flying it to a place of safety.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: He quickly scanned the scene of devastation, his mind working at super speed to calculate who was in most danger, and what was the optimal path to save as many lives as possible. He flew into action, using super breath, to extinguish fires, heat vision to slice open the sides of train cars so the occupants could escape... at least those who were still able to stand.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: He was so hyper focused on the task, that his mind began to wander. He hadn't seen this much destruction in the city since that fateful encounter with General Zod and his minions. In fact Metropolis had only just completed the grand rebuilding project, demolishing unsafe skyscrapers, clearing acres of rubble strewn over dozens of city blocks and only then could new buildings rise from the rubble of destruction.

16:33 Superman_Muscle: He still thought about that day, his encounter with Zod, what he had been forced to do - take a life. A final cruel payback from the evil General, who had been defeated at such great cost. It still haunted him. If only he had been faster, more skilled, perhaps he could have subdued Zod without resorting to breaking his neck. Then exiled him to the Phantom Zone where he belonged. Since that day, he had trained with Batman, a master tactician and Wonder Woman, perhaps the greatest warrior to ever walk to the Earth, so that next time he would be ready. Ready to face even the most powerful opponent, and find a way to end the threat without repeating Zod's fate at his hands.

02:43 Man-El: Man-El didn't have long to wait. In an impossibly short time, Superman was on the scene. From his hidden vantage point, Man-El observed the admittedly impressive heroics of the Man of Steel, rescuing the dangling metro car, safely planting it on the ground. As the hero put out fires with his super breath, and began cutting open another car with his heat vision to free the trapped people, Man-El saw the perfect opportunity.

02:43 Man-El: Superman's back was to him, and the valiant Kryptonian was utterly focused on his task, channeling his heat vision.

02:43 Man-El: As if in answer to Superman's silent thoughts of readiness and determination to face any foe, Man-El's own heat vision, not dialed back in the slightest, but unleashed at its full potential, streamed forth from the elite Kryptonian Commando's eyes, powered by vengeance, and honed by his own intense study and practice of his new powers.

02:43 Man-El: This blast of unfettered heat vision DRILLED directly into Superman, directly at the base of his neck, on bare skin, just above the point where the collar of his nanoweave suit ended.

14:57 Superman_Muscle: Superman was intent on freeing another group of people trapped inside a train car turned on its side, when his world exploded in pain. Intense burning pain. For a split second he didn't quite realize what was happening, just experiencing the intense pain radiating out from the back of his neck. His neck... a moment later it dawned on him - he was under attack!

14:57 Superman_Muscle: He had to get to cover, even his invulnerability could not withstand such an assault for long. As he leaped over the train car, putting the heavy undercarriage between himself and the beams, his mind worked furiously to determine what the attack could be. Ordinary lasers could not harm his invulnerable skin, the sensation of pain was too localized to be from an orbiting satellite. Could Luthor have developed a new weapon? A kryptonite beam would explain the incredible pain it had caused. But no... while pain pain was bad, it was not kryptonite at least, that was a whole different type of pain.

14:57 Superman_Muscle: He looked up from behind the train, scanning the buildings that could have been the source of the attack, and then he saw him.... ZOD!

14:57 Superman_Muscle: But no, Zod was dead, he was sure of that. And on closer inspection, while this man was dressed in the same black form hugging tactical suit that Zod and his acolytes had worn, this was not Zod. His build was not the same, this man was much more powerfully muscled than Zod had ever been, taller too.

14:57 Superman_Muscle: Then it all clicked into place. This must be one of Zod's soldiers, he had thought he had accounted for all of them, sent the survivors into the Phantom Zone. He must have missed one. And the attack had not been a fancy new weapon, but... heat vision. He was facing a fellow survivor of Krypton. His emotions were mixed, relieved that he was facing a known quantity, something he had faced and defeated before, but also trepidation... one of the few beings in the universe that could actually hurt him was a fellow Kryptonian. This entire scene was a setup. To lure him out. He consoled himself with one fact. At least he didn't have to hold back.

14:57 Superman_Muscle: Superman picked his head up from behind the train car and let loose with his own heat vision. Not at the man, but at the support columns of the floor in the building he was standing in, aiming to bring the entire thing crashing down on his opponent. Luckily this building was still under construction so there were no occupants to worry about.

16:30 Man-El: Man-El felt a savage satisfaction, a deep and profound delight in finally being able to strike his foe, finally being able to begin the process of seizing his revenge. His heat-vision seared into Superman's neck perfectly. Man-El zoomed in to drink in the details of his first strike, of the sizzle and flash as his heat vision burned away the hairs on the back of Superman's neck.

16:30 Man-El: Then, his foe leaped away, and Man-El cut off his vision. He stood there in the window, in full view of Superman, wanting to be sure the world-famous protector of humanity had a good view of him.

16:30 Man-El: For a moment, Superman and Man-El's eyes met, and Man-El smiled, his eyes lighting up with rage, strength, and battle lust. Then Superman's heat vision began slicing through the support columns of the unfinished building, but it was child's play for Man-El to leap out the window, yanking a 30 foot long, several thousand pound steel girder in the process, getting free of the collapsing building before heaving the massive steel beam directly towards Superman with lightning fast speed.

16:30 Man-El: The huge column of steel and concrete, hurtling end over end towards the mighty son of Jor-El. He expected Superman to deal with the steel beam. But that was just a distraction. His real attack was the support column of the elevated railway. Man-El's explosives had taken out two columns, and a large section of track, with the remains of the metro train, packed with survivors still stood, overhanging and extending into empty air, over the spot where Superman hid behind a wrecked metro car. With a precise burst of his heat vision, Man-El disintegrated the support, dropping hundreds of tons of concrete, steel, metro cars, and screaming, terrified passengers directly on Superman's hiding place!

16:55 Superman_Muscle: With the support beam spinning end over end towards him like a massive maul out of a fantasy novel, Superman moved to intercept, just as there was an explosion overhead and the elevated railway collapsed completely, sending the remaining rail cars, careening towards the ground beneath. Superman put on a burst of speed, ignoring the incoming support beam, which clipped his shoulder with a glancing but still powerful impact. He grunted in pain, but his invulnerability prevented any serious damage. This gave him the opportunity to reach up with both hands to grab the train car closest to him, while using his super breath to 'blow' the other cars across the city square to splash down into a lake. Not perfect, but at least they were not crushed in a fall straight to the ground.

16:55 Superman_Muscle: The rail car he was holding up was empty of passengers, as they had managed to flee to the next car before the second set of explosives went off. This made it the perfect weapon as Superman braced with his flight power and then, muscles bulging in his blue suit, hurled the entire train car directly at Man-El.

16:55 Superman_Muscle: There was a deafening boom as the car broke the speed barrier, the shock wave from the sonic boom, shattering windows in a nearby building.

18:08 Man-El: Man-El watched, impressed as Superman handled the collapse like the true hero he was, prioritizing saving the lives of the citizens trapped in the collapsing metro cars, cleverly blowing them into a nearby lake. He lowered himself to the ground, ready for battle, preparing his next attack. But....

18:08 Man-El: Suddenly, Man-El was astonished as the massive Metro car was hurled directly at him! He was caught off guard by the sheer speed of the projectile, faster than the speed of sound, and it smashed into his body before he could brace himself, so fast had the Man of Steel thrown it. He was hammered hard into the ground by the extreme force, a burst of pain spreading over his heavy muscle, a few small rips and tears in his battle uniform. Not even a Kryptonian can take a supersonic kinetic missile weighing several tons lightly. But....

18:08 Man-El: He masters the burst of pain, and stays still scanning the ground with his X-RAY vision. Just before Superman had thrown the car, he'd been standing right in front of a manhole. His X-RAY vision confirmed that a sewer ran directly under the line of the elevated metro train. He quickly scrambled through a manhole buried beneath the wreckage, and focusing through the pain, went supersonic down the sewer, faster than the speed of sound, so that not even Superman's hearing would be able to detect his approach as he suddenly erupted out of the manhole beneath Superman's feet, driving his fist with such speed it was nothing but a blur directly under Superman's jaw in a supersonic uppercut!

18:21 Superman_Muscle: Superman gave a satisfied nod as the train car buried Man-El in a pile of steel and rubble. He knew it wouldn't keep him down for more than a few seconds, but seconds were all he needed to formulate a plan to take this battle out of the city and away from innocent people that would otherwise be collateral damage in a super brawl.

18:21 Superman_Muscle: He had barely registered the tremors beneath his feet when a black blur erupted from the concrete beneath him and he felt a blinding pain radiating out from his jaw. The shock wave from the impact shook the buildings rattling windows in their frames for a block in every direction.

18:21 Superman_Muscle: Superman himself was shot straight up into the air like a cannonball being fired, arcing high into the sky, already several miles overhead before he could gather hits wits enough to engage his flight power and start to slow his ascent. His jaw ached, and for a moment, he feared it might actually be broken, but to his relief it was merely bruised., badly bruised but still intact. He hadn't been hit that hard since... Doomsday. Could Man-El be even stronger than Zod himself? It certainly seemed to be the case. The thought chilled him.

18:21 Superman_Muscle: He flipped around, extending his arms out in front of him and clenching fists tight, locking elbows as he sped back towards the ground, building speed all the time, assisted by the pull of gravity, aiming like a homing missile directly at Man-El.

18:33 Man-El: Man-El felt a savage surge of evil pleasure hit him almost like an orgasm as his fist rocketed the Man of Steel upwards like a comet. Man-El grinned as the Man of Steel recovered, then sped towards him, building speed, and roaring in challenge, Zod's former bodyguard rocketed up to meet him! His mighty muscles swelled with power, as he roared his challenge, flying up, fist extended to meet the mighty Superman!

18:33 Man-El: Man-El's fist was cocked, readied, and just milliseconds before the two behemoths collided, Man-El swung his fist with millisecond timing and precision, aiming to smash it directly into the side of Superman's square jaw, if the blow connected, the savage impact would deflect Superman off to the side, on a direct collision course with the Brooklyn Bridge, crowded at this hour with commuters and traffic!

19:07 Superman_Muscle: As Superman barrelled towards Man-El he caught sight of the slight twitch of muscle and tendon that warned him of Man-El's intended attack. Adjusting his positioning slightly, slowly down just a fraction before the two collided, so that Man-El's fist collided with his upper arm rather than his jaw.

19:07 Superman_Muscle: The pain was intense, nearly taking the Man of Steel's breath away, and his arm felt numb. But the sensation was only short lived, as milliseconds later Superman and Man-El collided, mid-air. The Irresistible force meets the immovable object. Superman felt twin jolts of pain shooting up his arms, to his shoulders as his fists struck Man-El directly in the chest. Just as Man-El's one fist struck his mountainous pecs.

19:07 Superman_Muscle: The two titans of muscle slammed into each other with tremendous force, Superman momentarily blacking out from the force of the impact as the two deflected off each other and were sent tumbling head over heels in opposite directions.

19:07 Superman_Muscle: Superman came crashing down to ground near the docks, his invulnerable body making a crater in the concrete from the impact. He lay there groaning and catching his breath, slowly sitting up, muscles and tendons protesting the effort as he forcibly battled through the pain. There was a large rip on his uniform at the front, where Man-El's fist had struck, exposing his thickly muscled torso underneath, and an ugly red welt on his otherwise invulnerable skin.

03:49 Man-El: Two Titans, hurtling together at unbelievable speed, both immeasurably strong, nearly invulnerable. Man-El's opening strike was partially avoided by the legendary Man of Steel, only striking his battleship-strong upper arm instead of his jaw.

03:49 Man-El: But there was no time to consider the matter further, for then they collided mid-air. Man-El's other fist detonated against the invincible chest of Superman like a heat-seeking missile, just as Superman's double fists impacted with the force of a meteor.

03:49 Man-El: The shockwave of their mid-air collision was explosive, ripping through the air above the mighty metropolis, causing a sound and wind heard for miles.

03:49 Man-El: The savagery of the blow sent ripples of agony and pain tearing through Man-El's mountainous pecs. The force of the impact almost, but not quite, caused Man-El to black out. He was, however, undeniably stunned. Never in his entire life had he experienced a blow like that. In a daze, trying to come to terms with what just happened, his massively muscled body was blasted in the opposite direction, hurtling end over end in a dazed stupor, fighting to push through the fog of pain and shock.

03:49 Man-El: His flight took him across the river cutting through the mighty city, directly towards a cluster of skyscrapers crowding the bank. He smashed through the lower floor of one of these mighty towers of commerce with an explosion of plate glass, tearing a path of destruction through the building, ripping through floor after floor on a diagonal downward line, causing officer workers to gape in horror at the sight. Finally, his trajectory slowed, fires and destruction in his wake, he smashed through the final floor and dropped into the richly appointed lobby.

03:49 Man-El: Man-El just managed to regain enough control by this point that he at least landed on one knee in the middle of the lobby, his chest heaving, his eyes burning. The muscles of his mighty, mountainous chest, built, developed, thickened by a lifetime of intense training and relentless development, throbbing and aching, but slowly the pain started to fade.

03:49 Man-El: There was, however, now a savage rip down the right side of his uniform, staring near the top of his pec and leading down to just under the shelf of his thick chest, exposing some of his deep black body hair. His pecs though, were so dense, that they were able to handle even the force of that colossal collision.

03:49 Man-El: He looked up. His eyes were burning with rage and hatred. Suddenly, he roared, sending out a shockwave that shattered the windows of the lobby and rendered everyone nearby instantly unconscious.

03:49 Man-El: He leapt up suddenly, smashing out of the skyscraper like a comet, his rage overriding the lingering pain he felt in his throbbing pecs. Bursting up into the sky, he scanned the opposite shore, and caught sight of Superman, just sitting up in a crater, looking dazed and stunned... and... there on the Man of Steel's left pec, through a tear in his legendary uniform, a ugly red welt on his mighty chest.

03:49 Man-El: Man-El shot down, descending like an avenging demon on the Man of Steel in the middle of the crater near the docks on the other side of the river, sending forth a burst of his heat vision, aiming the blast directly at the ugly red welt on Superman's chest as he plummeted back into battle.

04:24 Superman_Muscle: Superman was just bringing his eyesight into focus when he caught sight of Man-El rapidly approaching. It looked like he had recovered from the titanic impact even faster than Superman himself. He had no time to ponder the implications of that, as he saw Man-El's eyes glow bright red, a sure sign he was about to unleash his heat vision as the distance between the two rapidly closed. Superman did catch sight of the tear in the black tactical uniform, exposing Man-El's thick darkly haired pec muscle which showed no signs of damage from the impact of Superman's fists striking him.

04:24 Superman_Muscle: In a burst of superspeed, Superman rolled to one side just as the twin beams of heat vision raked over the very spot his chest had been mere moments before. the beams struck the concrete and vaporized it starting to bore down into the ground like twin drills.

04:24 Superman_Muscle: Superman flew over towards a cargo container, his fingers making deep impressions in the steel sides as he grabbed it and lifted it up and then spinning around once, then twice to build momentum he released it, tossing it like an Olympic hammer directly at Man-El just as his feet crashed down right where Superman's body had laid.

05:07 Man-El: Man-El rocketed down his heat vision streaking forth like twin blades of fire to smash his enemy, but Superman had rolled out of the way, and his heat vision drilled harmlessly into the shattered concrete.

05:07 Man-El: The massively muscled Kryptonian watched as Superman leapt beneath a massive steel cargo container, picking up the container and the hundreds of tons it contained, beginning to spin it around and around.

05:07 Man-El: Snarling, Man-El landed with a thunderous boom on the concrete quayside.

05:07 Man-El: The bodyguard of Zod knew what was coming, and he prepared himself for it. Just as he landed, Superman released the heavy container, weighing hundreds of tons, straight at the proud, massive form of Man-El.

05:07 Man-El: But unlike the first time when Superman had tried this trick, Man-El was ready. He dug his heels deep into the concrete, extended his arms, and focused on his core. His abs exploded with power, sending an unbelievable surge of strength throughout every fibre and tendon of his ultra-dense, battle-forged Kryptonian muscle. With an ear-splitting roar, hand outstretched, he CAUGHT the ultra heavy container, at least 10 times heavier than the metro car that was thrown at him earlier. He ducked under it, and using his muscle and powers of flight, EXPLODED up beneath it, gaining control of the MASSIVE weight. His muscles strained and burned with the effort, but he managed it, and made it look easy.

05:07 Man-El: Then, he began spinning, his fingers thickly gripping the heavy steel, gouging it deeper and deeper as he spun it around, his massive pecs flexed to the max, tendons standing out on his neck, Man-El spun it around once, then twice, then with a roar of power, released it right back towards the astonished Kal-El. There was no doubt that he had thrown the heavy container with even more force and momentum than Superman had managed!!

19:12 Superman_Muscle: Superman watched in disbelief as Man-El not only caught the hurtling cargo container, but did it without even needing to take a step backwards to absorb the impact. We watched as Man-El's muscles bulged under the skin tight black Kryptonian tactical suit as his foe wound up to send the container right back at him.

19:12 Superman_Muscle: Superman could have dodged to one side, or used his heat vision to slice the container in two, so maybe it was an unconscious sense of pride that caused him instead to plant his legs firmly on the concrete, boots digging in foot holds as he flexed his powerfully muscled frame and extended his arms braced for the impact. Determined to show that Man-El was not the only Kryptonian who could play catch.

19:12 Superman_Muscle: The container shot towards him at blistering speed, as Superman reached out to grab it. The force was incredible, and immediately Superman realized that he had miscalculated, as pain shot up his arms to his shoulders, still not fully recovered from the titanic impact with Man-El's densely muscled pecs.

19:12 Superman_Muscle: As his arms began to be forced back he felt the concrete under his feet start to crumble and give way as his mighty legs were pushed back gouging a deep furrow in the concrete that eventually buried him up to his knees.

19:12 Superman_Muscle: He gripped the container tightly, fingers digging into the thick steel to try and get a solid hold and keep it from spinning out of his hands. The strain proved to be just too much for the container as the sides ruptured and it lost structural integrity, spilling hundreds of tons of broken and bent steel down onto his powerful body, leaving him buried in a mound of twisted metal.

20:04 Man-El: Man-El watched with savage joy as the son of Jor-El attempted to catch the hurtling container, loaded down with hundreds of tons of steel bars. Superman planted himself, his powerful muscles rippling with power and confidence, so certain he could catch the container just as Man-El had done.

20:04 Man-El: So certain, but oh so very wrong, for the force of momentum Man-El had imparted to the hurling container was significantly greater than the force Superman had used, and the Man of Steel was not prepared to handle it. For a split second, it appeared as though the Man of Steel might manage the feat, but then Man-El caught the sudden, brief flash of pain ripple across Superman's handsome face as the momentum of the multi-hundred ton block of steel failed to stop, and slowly forced those mighty battleship strong arms backwards, at a painful and damaging angle, his legs pushed backwards, digging a trench in the solid concrete before the entire container split apart under its own weight, splitting open like an eggshell, spilling hundreds of tons of steel bars on top of the outmuscled Man of Steel! So ironic.

20:04 Man-El: Man-El sprang into action immediately, leaping up into the air. Next to the dock was a massive steel loading crane, made up of criss-crossing steel girders, over 50 feet tall, topped off with a multi-ton clamp dangling by heavy steel cable. Man-El grabbed the base of the crane, where it was sunk into the concrete, and with a surge of sheer elite Kryptonian commando muscle, his black tactical suit strained near to the bursting point to hold in his muscles as they swelled with unearthly power, he ripped the enormous crane free from the concrete, then his muscles once more rippling with incredible strength, he swung the crane down, practically whipping the multi-ton clamp dangling at its end like some kind of medieval ball and chain, smashing it with catastrophic force directly into the pile of twisted metal burying the outmuscled Man of Steel!

01:52 Superman_Muscle: Superman, lay buried under hundreds of steel bars, his body making a 12" depression in the concrete which lay shattered beneath his muscular frame. If not for his invulnerable skin and steel hard muscles, one of more of the steel bars would have almost certainly impaled him. He girded himself, preparing to flex up his mighty muscles and burst free from the steel tomb when suddenly there was a massive impact like being stomped by the foot of a colossus that scattered the steel bars like matchsticks and drove Superman's body even deeper, actually smashing through the concrete into the relatively softer rock and earth beneath.

01:52 Superman_Muscle: The force of the impact jarred every muscle in Superman's torso, but it could have been far worse, in fact the pile of steel bars did an excellent job of dissipating much of the force of the impact. Even so, Superman's body throbbed with an unfamiliar sensation - pain! He forced himself to move, knowing that many more hits like that and he would be out of this fight before it had barely begun.

01:52 Superman_Muscle: He began to twist his shoulders, angling down and tunneling down beneath the concrete base, to emerge up through the concrete several dozen feet away from where the clamp of the crane had slammed into the ground where he had laid only moments before.

01:52 Superman_Muscle: The impact from the cargo container and then the crane, has damaged his super suit further, multiple small tears and rips in the nanoweave material, that were slowly starting to self repair. He instantly sprang into action, scooping up a handful of the steel bars that were strewn about from the cargo container and then hurling them like javelins one after the other at Man-El's chest.

03:29 Man-El: Man-El let loose an earth-shattering roar that set off car alarms for miles as he smashed at the pile of steel bars with the enormous crane, the impact sending steel bars flying in all directions, but there was as of yet no sign of Superman beneath the pile of rapidly scattering steel bars. His super hearing quickly caught the sudden sound of Superman's emergence however, as the Man of Steel burst forth from the concrete like the true hero he was, defender of the Earth.

03:29 Man-El: Man-El turned to face him, still holding the crane in one hand, to put eyes on the mighty Superhero, the man who killed his master Zod. He looked magnificent, there was denying that. Every inch a hero. But... hardly pristine. His legendary uniform was torn and ripped in several places, and even though the material was self-repairing, there was still a large rip over his left pec, exposing a patch of his slightly hairy, manly chest, with a slowly fading, but still visible red welt.

03:29 Man-El: As Superman began hurling the steel bars at him, Man-El puffed out his chest, tightened his abs, and drew on his enormous strength, a strength honed and developed over a lifetime of military training and service, forged on the battlefield, defending his master Zod. And now that strength served him well. His chest was so dense, so thick, the muscles so compact that their power to endure punishment exceeded even that of Superman's Kryptonian muscle.

03:29 Man-El: He caught each bar directly on his mighty chest, the powerful muscle absorbing the impact of each steel javelin, and shaking them off, to scatter to either side. The impact of each bar sent a shock of pain through Man-El's mighty chest, but he endured it, and mastered it, advancing on the Man of Steel at a steady pace shaking off his attack as though it were nothing. The impacts did however, open up several more rips and tears on the chest of his black tactical suit, exposing yet more of his dark, thick muscled hairy torso here and there.

03:29 Man-El: Then, he snatched the last steel javelin out of the air with a quick flick of his wrist, and in an attempt to surprise superman, suddenly shifted into super speed, holding the steel javelin in front of him like a spear, aimed directly for the Man of Steel's hard, ridged muscled core, right for his belly button, as if he intended to impale the mighty Superman right in the guts with the steel bar! The strength of his sudden burst of speed was unbelievable, as he left a sonic boom in the wake of his shift into super speed.

03:57 Superman_Muscle: Superman hurled the makeshift javelins with unerring accuracy as one after the other they slammed into Man-El's densely muscled chest striking like an armor piercing shell from a tank. But to his dismay, Man-El just stood there braced and let each steel bar slam into his powerful muscles and bounce off, with seemingly no effect. No effect other than tearing holes in his tactical suit which only exposed more of the dark haired muscle and was clearly far more invulnerable than the suit.

03:57 Superman_Muscle: As Man-El began to purposefully stride towards Superman, his pecs and abs showed no sign of harm. Superman had one bar left, and he put all his strength to hurling it directly to Man-El's face. The man's hand moved like a blur, almost too fast for Superman to follow as, with speed unexpected in a man so large he snatched the bar out of the air right in front of his face.

03:57 Superman_Muscle: And then... Man-El was right next to Superman, so close he could feet his hot breath on his face as Superman felt an intense jab of pain that exploded out from the center of his abs, causing him to stagger backwards, his abs on fire. He felt like he'd been skewered, but as he clutched his abs he was gratified to confirm that densely packed Kryptonian muscles had held even if there was a new hole in his suit, exposing much of his abs now.

03:57 Superman_Muscle: The steel bar in Man-El's hand was bucked and twisted, looking more like a pretzel than a straight steel rod, the tip where it had struck Superman's abs, glowing faintly red from the heat of the impact.

03:57 Superman_Muscle: Superman's eyes glowed bright red as his heat vision erupted, blasting the rod in Man-El's hand and turning instantly as hot as the center of the sun, the heat quickly conducted to Man-El's hand, even as the steel started to melt.

05:29 Man-El: The steel impromptu javelin in Man-El's hand DROVE like the lighting bolt of Zeus directly into Superman's abs!! The impact was INCREDIBLE, the shockwave sending out yet another sonic boom ripping through the city. When the shockwave dissipated, Man-El was left holding a bent steel rod, the tip red from the release of kinetic energy that occured upon impact with Superman's invulnerable core. The impact had also blasted Superman backwards several hundred feet, so Man-El closed the distance like an avenging demon.

05:29 Man-El: As Man-El flew forwards for another attack, Superman's heat vision stabbed out targeting the deformed steel rod Man-El still wielded. The rod quickly melted, until the heat reached Man-El's hand. The brief searing agony of the molten metal elicited a bellow of pain from the Kryptonian Commando, but his advance never slowed. In fact, his fist, still coated in molten metal cocked as he surged towards Superman, he looked to unleash a brutal right cross directly into the side of Superman's heroic square jaw with a fiery fist still coated in glowing molten steel.

00:42 Superman_Muscle: Like a charging Rhino Man-El kept on coming, making a beeline directly for Superman his roars of challenge making cargo ships rock from side to side in their moorings. Right now, Superman's strategy was to try and anger Man-El, keep him angry and hope it made him reckless, giving him an opening to strike.

00:42 Superman_Muscle: As the glowing red fist coated in molten metal arced towards Superman's jaw, he did the unexpected, used his flight power to move backwards at the last possible moment, so that the first flew past his face, missing him by a fraction of an inch, spraying droplets of molten steel onto Superman's skin, that hissed and sizzled.

00:42 Superman_Muscle: Superman reached up in a flash of speed to grab the outstretched arm in both of his, grasping the wrist with both hands and using Man-El's own forward momentum to yank him off his feet and then spin him around and release him, sending Man-El flying backwards towards a large stack of shipping containers.

03:42 Man-El: Man-El, roaring in fury, drove forward into the mighty Man of Steel, his fist arcing in towards that heroic jaw, droplets of molten steel spraying off his still burning hand. Superman, however, timed his evasion with precision and heroic perfection, avoiding the strike to his jaw at the last second, his body snapping backwards in a blur of perfectly-timed speed.

03:42 Man-El: As droplets of molten steel sizzled against the mighty super hero's jaw with flashes and hisses, then before Man-El could reposition himself, Superman's hands seized his outflung wrist in a grip as tight as titanium, using his own momentum against him, Superman spun the elite Kryptonian commando around and flung him directly towards a massive stack of shipping containers.

03:42 Man-El: Hurling head over heel, the bodyguard of Zod fought not to stop his flight but to control his rage. He was a soldier, a trained warrior, and he knew that the path to defeat was paved with blind rage. His enormously muscled body bashed through one of the containers and out the other side when, calming himself, he halted his tumble and looked around him.

03:42 Man-El: Hidden behind the stack of containers was an industrial sized propane tank, as large as a barn, filled with tons of liquid propane. Zod smiled, then flew beneath the tank, quickly using precise blasts of heat vision to free it from the struts that connected it to the ground.

03:42 Man-El: Getting under the tank, he braced himself, his muscles bulged with power and rippled with strength, straining the confines of his torn, partially ripped uniform. The tank lifted in the air, slowly at first, than faster, suddenly rising up above the tower of containers to emerge full into Superman's vision at the speed of a jetliner, propelled by a final, incredible burst of Man-El's enormously thick and impossibly dense battle-forged, veteran muscle.

03:42 Man-El: And it was headed directly towards Superman. Just before impact with the Man of Steel, Man-El let loose a full savage blast of his heat vision directly at the highly flammable, barn-sized tank of propane.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: Superman was congratulating himself on putting one of Batman's lessons into practice. It was a novel experience for him, to have to use his opponent's strength against him, and one that he hoped not to have to resort to in future encounters. Still he executed the maneuver perfectly and Man-El was sent flying backwards, smashing into the side of a shipping container and out the other side. Superman briefly lost sight of him, thanks to the lead based paint on the side of the shipping containers.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: A few seconds past, which were much needed by the Man of Steel to catch his breath, and allow his sore muscles to recover as much as possible. As the seconds ticked by Superman grew increasingly concerned. Surely that wasn't enough to take out his Kryptonian opponent, why hadn't he emerged yet?

18:39 Superman_Muscle: Superman quickly got his answer as a large cylinder suddenly appeared from behind the wall of containers heading rapidly towards him. There was no time to dodge, no time to do anything but brace for impact.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: A split second before the propane tank struck it exploded in a massive fireball that lit up the sky and a plume of flame expanded out hundreds of feet in every direction, sending shipping containers scattering like bowling pins struck by a wrecking ball.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: Superman was at ground zero for the explosion, as the blast wall of pressure and heat struck him, for a few seconds he held his ground, reinforcing his footing with his flight power as the flames engulfed his powerfully muscled body. But then the shockwave of the explosion proved too much even for him and he was knocked back, slamming into the side of a shipping container and caving it in. He blinked to clear his vision, and tasted the distinct odor of singed hair... his own! The heat of the blast had been so intense, that parts of the front of his suit had been instantly vaporized, exposing his invulnerable skin to the brunt of the heat which had managed to burn away some of the hair from the exposed flesh, and leaving it red as if from sunburn.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: There was a large crater in the spot where the propane tank had exploded still smoking, the exposed earth and rock, shiny and partially melted to glass from the intense heat.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: He ignored the pain from his body as he reached out and grabbed the shipping container and hoisted it up over head, his muscles bulged as he pulled his arms back, suit splitting more over his thick pecs and around his shoulders and upper arms. His cape was frayed and ragged in several places, burned up from the incredible heat.

18:39 Superman_Muscle: Superman hurled the cargo container at Man-El, holding nothing back, and immediately took to the air following it. The cargo container was just a decoy, as he locked his elbows and clenched his fists tightly out in front of him, flying behind the container, using it and the lead paint walls as cover to try another strike on Man-El, this time aiming for his midsection.

20:12 Man-El: Man-El watched the massive fireball expand with a glorious surge of heat and light, a miniature sun to consume the Man of Steel in fire and the awesome shockwave of the explosion.

20:12 Man-El: In the wake of the explosion, the dockyards had been transformed into an apocalyptic wasteland, strewn with burning wreckage and scattered shipping containers, all surrounding a smoking crater, lined with rock, shattered concrete, and fused glass. Man-El rose up to survey the carnage, and caught sight of one of the scattered shipping containers suddenly lift up and rocket towards him.

20:12 Man-El: But, there was no sign of Superman. Man-El reacted instantly to the threat, aiming his heat vision at the oncoming container, as two beams of intense ruby red light, stabbed out, neatly slicing the container right down the middle, causing it to disintegrate in midair. Man-El smiled an evil grin, as Superman emerged from the tumbling wreckage, on a collision course with his chest. Man-El took in the sight of Superman's smoking body, his ragged, and torn cape, the deep red color of Superman's burned skin. Then, his heat vision blasted down the back of Superman's head in a brutal strike at the now exposed Man of Steel, the twin beams searing the top Superman's head, and drifting down to lock on at the back of Superman's neck.

20:12 Man-El: Keeping the beams locked on full power, Man-El rocketed on an intercept course with the son of Jor-El, with the man who killed Zod. Vengeance was coming. His fists were extended, and he roared, pouring on a sudden burst of extra speed, aiming his fists directly for the small of Superman's back in a double-fisted spine cracking blow designed to unleash savage destruction into the very core of Earth's mightiest hero, his elite battle-forged, Kryptonian Commando-trained muscles rippling with unbelievable power.

00:32 Superman_Muscle: Superman flew behind the shipping container, ready to pounce on Man-El only to see the container melt and fall apart in front of him, victim of Man-El's heat vision. Almost immediately afterwards he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, slowly making its way down towards his sore neck. The heat was intense, even more so than the explosion from the propane tank, as the twin ruby red beams of Man-El's heat vision raked the back of his head and neck.

00:32 Superman_Muscle: As Man-El shot towards him in a burst of speed, there was no time to dodge or block. Instead, Superman surged forward finding just a little extra speed hoping to throw Man-El's aim off and avoid a direct hit to the spine.

00:32 Superman_Muscle: Superman succeeded... partially as he edged just far enough forward that Man-El's powerful fists struck his thickly muscled glutes, just at the same instant as Superman managed to angle his torso up so that his own fists struck home into Man-El's wall of abdominal muscle.

00:32 Superman_Muscle: Superman cried out in pain as Man-El's fists struck him, sending him smashing into the concrete face first with a bone jarring force that cracked the 10' thick concrete in two. This, combined with the massive impact to his pelvis from Man-El's fists sent another jarring shockwave rippling through his muscular frame. He hadn't been hit this hard since... Doomsday

04:21 Man-El: Beneath him, Man-El watched the battle-damaged Man of Steel, cape frayed, costume ripped exposing huge areas of his powerful, manly chest, the very hair on the exposed patches of reddened skin burned away from the supposedly invulnerable Man of Steel, desperately attempt to evade his incoming assault.

04:21 Man-El: Man-El's muscles swell with delight as he notes the damage to the back of Superman's head and neck, already weakened during his initial assault, compounded now with a second brutal strike from his heat vision.

04:21 Man-El: With a roar, the two Kryptonian muscle gods once again collide, Man-El's fists of steel driving into Superman's hard, rounded, thickly muscled buttocks just as the Man of Steel's fists drive into Man-El's battle-forged, diamond-hard abs. The force of the impact sends a shockwave of sound rippling through the burning, broken dock yard.

04:21 Man-El: Superman's fists spear into Man-El's powerful abs, letting loose a shockwave of force that rips through the armour of his Kryptonian ab-wall. But the years of his training as an elite commando, pushing his body to the limits of its strength and endurance during his service on Krypton have built up tremendous muscle density compared to Superman.

04:21 Man-El: His armour holds, and the shockwave of pain passes. The blow blasted him backwards, doubling him up, but he quickly exerted his powers of flight and halted his momentum.

04:21 Man-El: Looking down, he saw his blow to Superman had done much more damage, savagely smashing the mighty Man of Steel into the ground like a rag doll, creating a massive crack on an as yet undamaged portion of the besieged dockyard.

04:21 Man-El: Superman lay stunned, as Man-El descended like a meteor, landing about 40 feet away from Superman, in a three point stance, on one knee, his fist driving into the concrete, causing a small earthquake to shake the quayside and send savage, deep cracks spiraling out from his impact point.

04:21 Man-El: He stood up, his chest thrown out, the massive, thick plates of unconquerable, hard-built, battle-forged, impossibly dense muscle pecs jutting forth from his chest.

04:21 Man-El: His tactical uniform showing signs of battle damage, but not nearly as much as Superman's, exposed a few hairy glimpses of the manly muscle beneath. With his eyes implacable, he began to stride meaningfully towards Superman, saying, "You are an impostor Superman. When you killed Zod, you sealed the destruction of your legacy. On that day, you made me, Man-El, the premier warrior and soldier in all of Krypton, into your mortal enemy. I swear to you, before this day is out, you will lie broken, crushed, destroyed, conquered, and unmanned at my feet." With those chilling words, he walked towards the stunned Man of Steel.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: Even as Superman's fists slammed into the rippling hard abdominal wall of Man-El he knew instinctively that it would not be enough. He felt the dense, invulnerable muscles bend inwards, but not break. Any hope of a quick follow up was dashed as Man-El's own fists stuck him and dent him crashing down into the concrete.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: Superman lay there, stunned, his body aching as he began to push himself up. He had made it to one knee when Man-El's deep booming voice assaulted him, and he saw the imposing Kryptonian land not forty feet away and start to approach, slowly methodically, as if he had all the time in the world.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: "I've heard it all before. The boasting and bragging. But you know what. I'm still here. And I'll still be here, even after you are nothing but a tale told to scare small children." Superman's words were defiant, and he tried to convince himself that he believed it. It was time to go all in like he did with Doomsday, and be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice should it come to it, to stop Man-El.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: Superman's eyes glowed bright red, as twin beams of heat vision lanced out, striking Man-El's jutting pec shelf, with an intensity and heat only found in the center of the sun. At this distance, he knew his heat vision could cut through the front armor plating of a heavy battle tank in under a second.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: Keeping up the assault he forced himself back up on both feet, and braced as he kept up the onslaught. He knew that Men-El's tactical suit, composed of nano-weave material much like his own super suit, would survive mere seconds before destabilizing and burning away exposing his chest to the full intensity of the heat vision.

15:08 Superman_Muscle: Superman focused all his efforts on his heat vision, blasting Man-El's chest, waiting for his opponent to duck, block, dodge or otherwise avoid the powerful beams, but instead Man-El stood there, and, impossibly then took a step towards Superman, then another. Each step causing the intensity of the beams of heat vision to increase. At twenty feet, they were powerful enough to slice through the armor plating of a battleship in mere moments…

16:26 Man-El: Man-El strode towards Superman with deliberate, calculated steps as Superman replied, voicing his defiance. His voice was confident, firm, certain, sure. Whatever else Superman was, he was no coward. Man-El smiled.

16:26 Man-El: The Man of Steel knelt defiantly, his nanoweave suit torn and ripped from the fierce fight, his muscled chest battered, reddened, missing it's customary fine black hair.

16:26 Man-El: Man-El took another step forward, his expression implacable. Then, he caught the red glint in Superman's eyes a fraction of a second before two ruby red beams of energy smashed him in the chest, and instantly Man-El knew that Superman was not holding back.

16:26 Man-El: The heat unleashed by that blast was not meant for the surface of a living world, as the very air was turned to plasma in its wake. The impact on Man-El's massive pecs of ultra-dense, battle-forged, godlike pecs was savage and brutal, his nanoweave tactical top incinerating in mere seconds. Man-El stopped, and a grimace of agony washed across his face. He staggered, as the searing heat sent waves of fiery, near crippling burning pain ripping through his proud, powerful chest.

16:26 Man-El: With a deep groan, Man-El thrust his chest forward, riding the waves of pain slicing through his chest like a surfer riding a wave at the beach. He refused to retreat, refused to back up. Then... he realized something astonishing... his mighty pecs, layered with strand after strand of ultra-dense veteran kryptonian muscle fibre... was ABSORBING the heat.

16:26 Man-El: Yes, it hurt. Hurt worse than anything he had felt in his life. But pain he could handle. He was a warrior, and pain was his friend. He could endure this. He would endure this. He took a step forward, into Superman's heat vision. The pain grew, and his mighty alpha pecs grew hotter, but he stepped forward, then another step, and another. The beams blasted into his impossibly dense muscle, and still his mighty chest, though burning with pain, stood strong, undaunted, absorbing the heat of the Man of Steel's most powerful heat vision he could muster.

16:26 Man-El: His eyes cold and hard, his expression unchanging, he looked back at Superman. Other than the initial impact, his face betrayed not one sign of the pain he was enduring. He kept walking forward. As he came closer, and closer, something remarkable occurred. His mighty pecs, soaking up the heat of the core of the sun from Superman's heat vision, finally reached their limit, but even then, Man-El's awesomely dense, proud, powerful, battle-forged pecs did not fail. Instead, they began radiating the excess heat BACK. Wave after wave of blistering heat blasted forth from his glowing pecs, the concrete started to crack, sand began to fuse into glass just from the waves of heat radiating off his mighty, unconquerable pecs.

16:26 Man-El: He passed the 20 foot mark, and still he was undaunted. The pain grew even more intense, but still not a sign of the pain he was experiencing showed on his expression in any way. His hard eyes never faltered from Superman. He kept walking, now only 10 feet away from Superman. The Man of Steel, standing now, was being blasted by wave after wave of incredible heat radiating from Man-El's glowing pecs, as his heat vision futilely, uselessly smashed into Man-El's truly invincible pecs. He kept walking, only five feet away now, and the heat radiating off of Man-El's battle-forged pecs was turning the very sand at Superman's feet into molten glass, cracking the concrete as he stood. Man-El kept coming.

16:59 Superman_Muscle: Superman unleashed his devastating heat vision upon Man-El's massively muscled chest, strain growing on his features as the seconds ticked by, but still Man-El continued to close the distance between them.

16:59 Superman_Muscle: When he was ten feet away, the terrible heat radiating off Man-El's body blistering concrete, fusing rock, began to reach Superman with enough intensity that he felt perspiration break out on his brow and slowly trickle down his face onto his heaving pecs, mixing with the dust and dirt of the concrete and Earth that still clung to his body.

16:59 Superman_Muscle: At five feet, the glare from Man-El's pecs was almost too bright to look at directly, Superman's heat vision was intense enough to slice through the hardest know alloys on Earth, and even Krypton at its height of scientific achievement could not have developed a material that could have withstood such intensity. Yet Man-El's pecs did the impossible as they not only resisted the heat vision but were almost deflecting it back at Superman at this point. The heat he felt was so intense, that he felt his super suit blister and crack, the edges of his cape catching fire and starting to spontaneously combust. The pain on his exposed skin was intense, the heat unlike anything he had experienced before.

16:59 Superman_Muscle: But Superman kept it up, refusing to quit, refusing to acknowledge the reality in front of him, still believing that a few seconds more and he would finally break through that impenetrable wall of Kryptonian muscle.

18:52 Man-El: Man-El, only five feet away, continued his inexorable progress towards Superman, absorbing those terrible beams of heat vision with his awesome pecs. The ultra-dense Kryptonian muscle refuses to yield, radiating back the energy of Superman's own heat vision off those two massive plates of battle-forged Kryptonian steel pecs.

18:52 Man-El: Man-El was a man walking through the fire, every step cost him pain beyond belief, but he would not yield. He walked into the pain, a pain which grew by orders of magnitude every step. And still, not once did his bearing or expression give any hint to the unbelievable agony he endured. Four feet, and still those beams refused to quit.
Three feet, and the very concrete beneath Superman's feet began to melt, forming lava. Two feet, and more of Superman's cape burst into flame, and small hairs on Superman's body began to sizzle. More and more of his nanoweave uniform began to smoke.

18:52 Man-El: Then he was there, directly in front of Superman. Moving slowly, but deliberately, Man-El reached forward, seizing the back of Superman's head, even as he continued to blast his heat vision into the invincible chest of Man-El. Then, suddenly, Man-El opened his mouth and ROARRRRED, transmuting all the pain he had suffered into a sonic boom that ripped apart the dockyard, shattering windows for a mile in all directions. As he roared, his bicep surged with power, and he SMASHED Superman's face into his truly invulnerable pecs, all the pent up heat his pecs had absorbed savagely unleashed directly into Superman's face.

19:54 Superman_Muscle: Man-El continued his approach, a seeming irresistible force until he was standing no more than a foot in front of Superman, as Superman had to look down at Man-El's pecs to keep up the assault, he felt the intense heat radiating back at his face in waves, any moisture from perspiration was immediately evaporated as the very air between the two tuned into an ionized plasma that radiated its own heat.

19:54 Superman_Muscle: The entire front of Superman's suit was smoking and degrading along with what little remained of Man-El's own tactical battle suit, neither built to withstand such an assault.

19:54 Superman_Muscle: Man-El reached out with a powerful arm and Superman felt himself grabbed from behind the neck, then his face was forcibly slammed into those glowing red ultra hot pecs. Immediately Superman roared in pain. This was unlike any pain he had experienced before, even Kryptonite did not compare. The searing heat caused the skin on his cheek to sizzle and burn and the smell of cooking meat permeated the air between them.

19:54 Superman_Muscle: Superman tried to pull his head back, but the pain was debilitating and he could not muster the leverage to force Man-El's powerful muscled arm to straighten. He did the only thing he could in the circumstances, and exhaled, with his super breath, trying to counteract the agonizing heat from Man-El's glowing pecs with frigid sub zero breath.

19:54 Superman_Muscle: At the same time, he unloaded punches into Man-el's kidneys desperate to break free so he could put some distance between the two and literally catch his breath.

03:54 Man-El: Channeling the extreme agony ripping through his awesomely powerful, invulnerable pecs, harnessing to fuel his determination to conquer Superman, his flexed bicep turned harder than diamond, the vast expanse of his massive, burning chest rigidly flexed, he ground Superman's face against his superheated, ultradense pecs. He heard Superman's roar of pain, and it was music to his ears. The savage delight actually caused his cock to stiffen, and strengthened his grip, driving Superman's burning face into the unbelievable heat of his impenetrable, unconquerable pecs.

03:54 Man-El: Man-El heard and smelled the supposedly invulnerable skin of Superman's face start to cook, unable to endure the contact with the ultradense mass of his pecs. Then, Superman, in the midst of his agony, his face literally being cooked, let loose a blast of superbreath to cool the heat, and lifted his fist to smash into Man-El's kidney.

03:54 Man-El: But the blow never landed... The very moment Superman's sub-zero, supercooled breath made contact with the extreme heat of Man-El's pecs, the insane temperature differential caused an instant, awesome, unbelievable explosion of force ripping the two titans apart like rag dolls.

03:54 Man-El: Man-El was flung backwards, head over heels, the savage shock of Superman's freezing breath contacting his superheated pecs sending forth a mind-numbing bolt of agony knifing through his pecs and into his brain. He nearly, but not quite, blacked out from the shock. When he looked up, his eyes starting to refocus, the heat and pain dissipating from his powerful chest, he saw that he had been blasted through the side of a cargo ship, leaving a ragged hole in the steel plating of the hull. He sat up, and looked around, regaining his feet. The pain was rapidly dissipating from his chest, and to his astonishment, he realized that despite everything, there had been no real injury or lasting damage done to his awesome pecs.

03:54 Man-El: The upper half of his nano-weave tactical suit was incinerated, his hairy, hard abs half -covered, the rest of his suit was in tatters, holes and rips everywhere. His chest, feeling red and raw, but undiminished by the battle, was now exposed proudly. He began to search for his foe. Superman would feel his vengeance. And it would be total.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: The shockwave as extreme heat met extreme cold literally ripped Superman free from Man-El's grasp, sending Superman flying backwards, and off the end of the dock and into the water. Superman's densely muscled body dropped like a stone as he sank to the bottom or the deep harbor, the salt water both cooling and irritating his burned skin.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: As he lay on the bottom of the water, he desperately tried to collect his thoughts. Man-El seemed to be unstoppable, even heat vision at point black range had not slowed him down. Even Doomsday had not shown that level of invulnerability. For the first time Superman felt a chill of fear go down his spine. Could he defeat Man-El. He was no longer sure, but he knew he had to try.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: The skin of his face was badly burned, and throbbed with pain, his chest wasn't faring much better. His super suit burned or in tatters, pecs and abs exposed. He even noticed with dismay where patches of hair had been burned away from his chest, leaving his skin smooth. He tore what little fabric remained from his arms and back, and gave his arms an experimental flex. At least his shoulders and elbows felt fine, recovered from their earlier titanic impact with Man-El's hard body. He had to buy himself some time, time to heal to let the life giving power of the sun restore him.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: He lay on the bottom, holding his breath and waiting, looking up and finally seeing Man-El flying over the water's surface clearly looking for him. It wouldn't take long for him to figure out where Superman was, and look down. Now was the time to act.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: He swam to where a heavy anchor attached to a thick steel chain rested on the floor of the sea bed. He reached out and grabbed it, muscles flexing and bulging with power as he sped vertically upwards, dragging the anchor with him. He burst free to the surface and flew up, muscles like steel coils bulging and pulsating with might as he dragged the entire cargo ship attached to the anchor up out of the water, and then spun it around before launching it like an Olympic hammer directly at Man-El, only this Olympic hammer weighed thousands of tons.

04:21 Superman_Muscle: He didn't wait to see the impact, instead, pouring on his flight speed, and heading directly upwards. He wasn't flying away or retreating exactly, although it definitely felt like it. He was trying to get free of Earth's atmosphere so the Sun's yellow rays could restore him more quickly and he could face Man-El once more.

12:08 Man-El: Man-El collected himself, and shot out of the side of the ruptured cargo vessel he found himself in. He scanned the horizon, carefully searching for his foe, but there was no sign of Superman. His powerful chest, exposed now to the elements, was burned clean of hair, covered with deep, red welts caused by the unimaginable heat it had endured.

12:08 Man-El: But his pecs HAD endured. The muscle mass was so dense, so thick, that it had proven able to absorb the energy of Superman's most powerful heat ray vision, absorb it, and re-radiate back. Incredible.

12:08 Man-El: Suddenly, there was the sound of sea water erupting in a loud splash. Instantly, Man-El turned as Superman shot out of the sea, his face covered in burns, his legendary uniform reduced to mere tatters, much of it burned and destroyed. His powerful chest was covered in further burns, whole patches of the manly hair that had once adorned his sculpted, heroic Kryptonian physique burned away.

12:08 Man-El: Yet, his strength remained incredible as his muscles strained, pulling up the cargo vessel by the anchor chain, the sight of the massive cargo ship, thousands of tons, twirling on the end of the chain was unbelievable, spreading fear and astonishment throughout the citizens catching sight of the spectacle from below.

12:08 Man-El: Man-El's fine tactical mind analysed the course and trajectory as soon as Superman released it, hurtling towards him like a grossly oversized Olympic hammer. He noted Superman's upward trajectory, plotting his rate of acceleration in his mind as he surged forwards, easily ducking under the oncoming Cargo vessel, seizing the dangling anchor chain in both hands, as his muscles bulged, his biceps suddenly peaking to a max as he exerted all his strength in one incredible surge of power. The sleeves of his tactical battle top, already weakened by the exposure to the severe heat, split as his biceps swelled beyond belief.

12:08 Man-El: With tendons straining, and with a roar of power, his might chest flexed to the max, he redirected the momentum of the cargo vessel into an upward swing, directly over his head, the course of the swing should SWAT Superman out of the sky before he could accelerate out of danger like a fly with a fly swatter that weighed several thousand tons.

19:33 Superman_Muscle: Superman soared upwards, so fast that the air around him began to glow fiery red from the heat of friction, like a meteor only in reverse. The heat was intense, but nothing compared to what his sore skin had recently endured when his own heat vision had been turned back on him by Man-El's seemingly invulnerable pecs. Superman felt a stirring between his legs as he thought about Man-El's massive pec muscles, and their thick, dark hair, the way they jutted atop his armor plated abs, that made steel seem as soft as butter by comparison.

19:33 Superman_Muscle: He shook his head to clear it of such stray thoughts, not sure where they came from, as the cerulean blue sky began to darken as he began to reach the upper limits of Earth's atmosphere.

19:33 Superman_Muscle: He glanced down, but could see no signs of Man-El in pursuit. He was just starting to think about relaxing when his world exploded in a blinding flash of pain at the cargo ship, traveling many ties faster than the speed of sound slammed into his back, swatting the Man of Steel from the sky like a fly.

19:33 Superman_Muscle: Superman tumbled out of control, spiraling downwards, knocked senseless by the tremendous impact, at about a mile above the Earth, the cold of the rushing air, brought him back to his senses, and he was able to slow his descent enough that he landed on the ground creating only a minor Earth tremor. Landing several miles from the cargo port as the site of a new skyscraper construction.

19:33 Superman_Muscle: He stood up, stretching his aching back and shoulders, wincing in pain as he scanned for signs of Man-El

02:59 Man-El: Every muscle in his powerful body strained, as Man-El released his grip on the anchor chain, the enormous cargo vessel's momentum imparted to it by Superman, now added to the momentum of Man-El's superior muscle. Man-El watched, hovering as the incredible sight of the rocketing Cargo vessel rushed up behind the unsuspecting Man of Steel like an impossibly huge Hammer of Thor.

02:59 Man-El: The impact was savage, and suddenly Superman tumbled out of the sky, stunned by the incredible collision. The massive cargo vessel continued up, achieving a low orbit before the momentum that was imparted to it dissipated. With a streak of superspeed, Man-El flashed across the sky, on an intercept course for the plummeting Superman.

02:59 Man-El: Streaking across the sky, building up more and more momentum, the muscles of Man-El surged and rippled with pure warrior strength, he just had time to see the dazed, stunned Man of Steel, his costume in tatters, his invulnerable muscle covered in burns and welts, stand up. Man-El's speed was unbelievable, already past the speed of sound, rendering him undetectable even to Superman's super hearing. He was coming in low now, and Superman's back was to him. Superman was starting to turn, searching for the Kryptonian commando... Man-El's enormous fists held out in front of him, would impact Superman's mighty, battle-damaged chest just as he turned to see what was approaching!! HIS DOOM!

03:25 Superman_Muscle: Superman caught a brief flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye, more a blur than a clear image. his eyes widened in shock as he saw Man-El just moments away from striking his chest. There was no time to block, no time to dodge, in the split second that Superman had to decide he did two things. ... flexed every muscle in his battle damaged but still intact chest, pecs, thrusting forward, abs crunching into a steel plated wall, and exhaled... using his super breath to create a hurricane force gust of air to try to slow Man-El down in the final moments of his approach.

03:25 Superman_Muscle: Man-El's fists struck Superman's pecs with an Earth shattering impact that created a shockwave that radiated out a mile in every direction, flipping cars, wrenching utility poles from the ground, uprooting trees. Superman fared little better as despite his dense muscles flexing to the max, he was immediately doubled over the remaining air in his lungs forcibly expelled in one gush of super freezing air as his body was knocked flying back, straight through the under construction sky scraper, and out he other side, then through the building behind it, and the next, finally coming to land slammed up against the thick wall of a bank vault three buildings away, leaving a massive dent in the side.

03:25 Superman_Muscle: Superman's abs felt like they were on fire, and he glanced down, fully expecting his midsection to have been torn open by the impact. To his relief, his tortured abdominal wall had somehow held... just, at least enough that he could still stand.... just.

03:25 Superman_Muscle: Gritting his teeth through the incredible pain, he took to the air, flying straight back at Man-El, seemingly aiming straight for him, fists outstretched, but at the last moment, banking to one side and then quickly flying circles around the mightily muscled Kryptonian warrior. Summoning up a raging tornado, with Man-El at its most destructive center.

OK I think I ran out of breathless wow words. I have never read a piece of cyber work here or anywhere that made me say wow 20 times like this one did. Both men understand the weapons and powers and abilities of any Kryptonian on Earth. This battle rival that of Superman vs Doomsday in scope and power. This is three dimensional and all over land, sea, and air.

These guys even addressed some incredible parts of physics taking into account heat and concussion. This is an all out Kryptonian WAR.

Beyond all that every move in this battle left me asking, "wow, what happens after THAT?" And this is just part 1. This is what I have found to be a critical part of the art of storytelling - having the child inside you breathlessly asking the storyteller, wow daddy, then what happened?

Not forgotten is the male power of muscle and will, the pride of an indestructible chest. This is a beautiful piece of work and makes me feel amazed and lucky to be part of a place that shows this level of user-generated activity. I am truly in awe, and that how you should feel watching Superman. Well done, bravo!
