1) Please include time zone and/or country of residence when applying, this helps the organizer when setting up the initial bracket. Please note time zone alignments cannot be guaranteed and the organizer will not be held responsible for a participant having to withdraw or being disqualified due to inactivity because time zones could not align.

2) All matches must be wrestling matches and any match submitted that does not adhere to this rule will result in the participants being asked to redo the match as a wrestling match or may result in the disqualification of both participants.

3) All participants may decide on the content they wish to include and whether a match will be submission or pro.

4) Once a matchup is finalized (i.e., the bracket is set or both opponents have advanced) participants should make contact with each other to arrange dates and times to do their match. Ideally more than 1 day/time is agreed to in the event that one or both participants are unable to meet on the initial day/time agreed. Extensions may be granted at the sole discretion of the organizer, however no participant should expect to receive an extension to complete any match.

5) If after a reasonable amount of time (no less than the 4 days in Rounds 1 and 2 or 2 days in later rounds) you have not heard from your opponent you may contact the organizer to let them know and they may try to make contact or may assign an alternate opponent depending on circumstances. In the event that contact cannot be made and/or an alternate is unavailable, the participant who first contacted the organizer may be advanced automatically at the sole discretion of the organizer.

6) If a matchup is not completed by the due date and neither participant has made contact with the organizer then both participants may be disqualified and an alternate advanced.

7) The use of dice is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to ensure a level playing field. If to many protests are received the organizer reserves the right to require the use of dice in all matches remaining in the tournament and by applying to participate all applicants and participants agree to do so if required. In such an event the guidelines to be used may be found here: Guidelines for the Use of Dice in CF Combat

8) Matches may be public, invitation only, or private.

9) All matches MUST be submitted through the tournament portal and be published for public enjoyment. Any match which is not submitted through the portal may be disallowed and may result in the disqualification of both participants. The portal may be found here

10) Good natured trash talk is encouraged but please be respectful of your opponent and fellow participants.

11) Situations arising not covered by these rules shall be resolved by the organizer who shall make a good faith effort to explain the action(s) being taken to resolve the situation. At all times the decisions of the organizer are FINAL.

12) By applying to participate all applicants/participants acknowledge that they have reviewed the time table, rules for the tournament, and the Dispute process. Applicants/participants acknowledge that they have the ability to adhere to the timetable (that is they expect to be available during the windows assigned to each round) and agree to the rules and Dispute process as presented.

13) Anybody applying or assigned as an Alternate participant acknowledges that they have the ability to adhere to the timetable (that is they expect to be available for the duration of the tournament) and agree to the rules and Dispute process as presented. Further, Alternate applicants understand and acknowledge that they may be assigned to a match "in progress," that is they may be expected to step in to finish a match, assuming the position of a disqualified participant in which case the Alternate so assigned agrees to read the preceding action, to be provided to them by either the Organizer and/or their opponent, and to "resume" the match as if they themselves had participated in the preceding action. Alternate applicants understand too that due to the nature of substitutions that they may receive shorter windows in which to complete their matches. Alternates may also potentially receive more than 1 opportunity to advance depending on need and availability but in no circumstance may a single Alternate advance more than once in any given round. In other words, a single Alternate cannot win more than 1 match in any given round but they may be able to win a match in Round 1, lose in Round 2, but still win a match in Round 2 or 3 depending on need and availability. Every effort will be made by the organizer to ensure that Alternates are given fair opportunity to participate should the need for their services arise.

14) Have fun and good luck!
