"Jobber is a professional wrestling term used to describe a wrestler who is routinely defeated by main eventers, mid-carders, or low-carders. Most promoters do not use the term because of the negative connotation." - Wikipedia
"In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a rudo in lucha libre) is a wrestler who portrays a villain or a "bad guy" and acts as an antagonist[1][2][3] to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters." - Wikipedia
So here lies my gripe. If you listed on your profile you're a "Jobber Heel" get therapy. This is like a Jewish Muslim, or a Tall short guy, or maybe even a "Student Teacher" a term that always made me laugh. If you want to be taken seriously, maybe you should pick one - Jobber or Heel.
I have been told to lighten up - I'm working on it.
Erik, my friend. I've always interpreted that to mean that the character can appear in either role, just as characters in any promotion often switch back and forth between heels and faces. Someone who opts to list as "jobber heel" is willing to appear in either role or has no preference as to which role they appear in. Some of us prefer one to the other but many are versatile and i dont recall their being a "face" option which is likely what those folks are really going for. Soooooooo maybe lighten up a little bit my friend. :)
