Thought I would share this here, recently taken from my evolving profile page and partly inspired by ErikAtlas and his original post. This comes out of meeting some really cool people on here who have helped me develop that character I am inhabiting.
Musings on the "bear necessities":
IRL as well as in character here, I am a muscled jock bear. That is as much about how I lead my life as it is about the physical look I sport. I am fiercely loyal and very protective. My friends know and respect that I can get rough, but I am never out to harm another person; nor do I respect anyone whose purpose is to harm me. So you will not find "broken bones" or "blood" or "extreme violence" in my list of preferences. Neither will you find "humiliation." Sex is about mutual pleasure, and flip fucking is a divine gift to men. Sex is never a weapon. Cross any of those lines, and I cross you off of my list. My friends know and respect that this is a firm limit.
This should be required reading for all members. *nods to Erik*

I move up behind Erik, quietly... carefully. I slide my arms under his pits and wrap them around his chest - placing my hands on each of his amazing pecs. The palms of my hands press into the overhang of the thick slabs - feeling the heft of the muscle as my fingers press in for a meaty squeeze. My bulk presses in tight and firm into his. I breathe his scent as my nose and lips slide up the arc of his neck - bristling his skin with my beard. I exhale low and slow into his ear and then whisper, "I fucking love, big man.... Happy Valentine's Day...."
OMG... shivering at the amazing touch. Butch... you are fkn Kryptonite to me. Thank you for the love.
Truth told I didn't want to make this about me. We all have cyber love. My men TobiasK and Butch showing how you get payoffs you never expect or demand.
As always, Erik, on target and well written. All the points resonate with me here. After a long match yesterday that was both rough and intimate, my opponent and I talked about learning #3. Of knowing the difference between "I get you in my scissors and press as hard as I can" and describing the feeling of muscles tensing and breaking down, the feel and scent of the sweat, the sounds each of you makes, what you see from that position, all the details that make fantasy seem real (and yes, EA, he said he learned that from you). Thank you for this.

It's Valentines Day - people show their love. It's sort of a Fake Hallmark moment for me, but seeing we're here. I love you
This is the raw world of cyber. We get to dress up in our fantasy self. "Fantasy" is not a dirty word. In many ways, when you pick that jock strap because it shows your junk right, you are engaging in this fantasy. It's a willingness to dress up, to costume the real stinky parts of you, and turn it into something you want your chosen to want.
We do this here every day.
The whole process of writing a profile is about that dress up. At some point I'll write something on my thoughts on how to write a profile. It's a savage world and its very very hard to talk about yourself and hard to sell yourself. But we were talking about love.
Right here in our chat room, we have many men and women in love. For what ever reason, the world you live in may be hostile to a real skin on skin live the way we do it here, so we find it here. If you are not in love here yet, prepare to be in love. Yes it will surprise you. Love moves your actions here. When I love you I want to cyber with you every day. I want to talk to you in the morning. I want to check on you before bed. My heart races when I see your name in the chat room. I wake up in the middle fo the night aroused, thinking of what it would be like to be wrapped in you.
This should not be a surprise. We often roleplay a world that fights and fucks without apology. Many of us have a huge chemical roller coaster when we get off with another. Know it, we get off together in a cyber, in some small way we bonded. People don't do this on the subway or in the break room, generally. But we do it here. The chemical circus of being human drives us to love when we fuck.
So the question that was itching my brain this morning was this: how do you show your love to your cyber mate? Well duh, you say, I love you.
Right.
That phrase gets tossed around coffee commercials and is cheapened by a shotgun blast of repetitions and sometimes is not enough to express the depth of your feelings. This might take some work on your part. As men, we're taught to suppress sentimental feelings. As women, you are always told you're a slut OR an ice block and when it comes to love, there are many voices out there telling us we're doing it wrong. Don't get hung up on that. Let's work on showing it.
These are the ways I show my love here.
1) I spend time with you. It might just be hello. I come in to make you laugh. You might get a hot wrestling pic in your mailbox. I pay attention to you. Today, find the player you love and just BE THERE. In the end, showing up is what it's all about.
2) play! make time to play. Make matches and scenes that you know are your love's favorite. This means you bother to find out. If you haven't bothered to find out, work on that today.
No "alpha" is too alpha to find out what his jobber needs. No jobber is too lowly to be disqualified from having needs. Read your man's matches. Look at the matches he posts comments on and see what turned him on. The clues are out there and easy to see.
3) help your love see you - this one's tricky - When I wrestle with a man, there's many words we use here to explain fight mechanics and the raw power of domination. These words dictate where we are in the position of the fight, but say nothing about the sensual level. You can add that helps your love see you.
Example, he bodyslams you and covers you for a pin, the ref gets in position to count. Don't kid yourself, this is a very intimate space. You're touching, skin on skin, sweat soaked, and holding on. In that position, I can help you see me by describing, in one line, what you feel when you lay on me. the thickness of my chest, my rippling abs, the heat of my breath, the sound of me groaning under you, maybe a scent of my cologne mixed with sweat.
This gets tricky because I know you guys. You don't want to make these encounters "all about you." Describing how sexy you are MIGHT BE HARD. But when you describe to me the sculpt of your abs and how they feel when I wrap you in a bodyscissors, I get a sensry input that lets me see you, I feel you, I want you, and we're suddenly way tighter, regardless of who wins. With those words, you take me into the world of touching you with a good description of you.
So this gets us back to that profile thing. If you have nothing describing you in the profile except raw stats and numbers, I'm left on my own deciding what it's like to touch you. This is not "egotistical" and over-proud to talk about you, it's crucial input for your opponent to be able to understand what it's like to touch you.
4) Love and the real world. here in Chatfighters, we craft a fragile illusion of ourselves here that can be wrecked with a badly timed cell phone or cat peeing on your keyboard. Keep in mind the one you love has a wrecking ball of real world details to get through to get time with you. And so do you. It's easy to ignore crucial things around you to spend time here with your man.
Example, I just got done with eye surgery. I am a terrible medical patient. I get grumpy and sulk - I hate it, I don't want to be an ass, but it's my glaring fault. I like my strength and when it fails me, the world is broken and I wanna see the fucking manager. I had to spend the last 2 weeks away from here for the most part. That absence has probably signaled some close players that I might not be interested in them - a signal I can't change. I feel like a promise breaker. It makes things complicated.
Ok this ain't Atlas therapy, so calm down. this is a real world example and you have 10 of them like that. I know your Mom isn't doing well. I know your son no one knows about just went to jail. I know your aunt has covid. This is what we are. I'm just sayin, it's the real world event that shattered my play relationships, and you have them happen all around you. It flairs emotions and tests our ability to be adults. Welcome to love. It's not pretty sometimes. When the real world crashes in, the tools you used to connect and bond in the first place will be your best tools to re-connect. play. Be there. Help you see me. And no magic bullet but being there will fix the damage.
5) Jealous? I know it's hard to think that when someone loves you they OWE you all of their free time. If that's a rule you live by, let your love know up front. I am a poly man, I love many, sexually, intimately, and I'm up front about it. Wow, it's hard to prepare for seeing your love posting a wild steaming screaming fuck match when you sat at home hoping for play time with him. It might hurt. I won't make apologies for him, but ask yourself, did that hurt happen out of malice to you? Or was it a sin of happening. Does that eclipse your future moments? You will have to decide and every juice in you is pissed fighting your ability to be logical .
Count to ten. Hard words can not be taken back so think them through.
So I am here brazenly saying it. You are in love. Right now. With someone you touch through words and still pics only. Today's Valentines Day with a ritual of expressing love, but remember, love here is the rule, not the exception; you do this every day. Right here.
I love my tribe here. I really do. I try to show it by building us and helping men that are builders. So today know I love you for being here and daring to take the risks of ego and heart that we take, in the name of the game and the love we share. Thank you for reading.
Eloquent and powerfully stated, and very, very true. Of course, our cyber experiences aren't "real", but of course they are. Because all of this creates experiences. And when a moment becomes the past, all we have left of that moment is experience of it. Experiences are real. So is this. Realizing that, and celebrating the connections and bonds that arise from that, is beautiful. Let us all build incredible, amazing, loving experiences for each other.
Thanks again to my very dear friend ErikAtlas for the gift of his love.
